Welcome to 5th Grade. My name is Guillermo Perez and I will be your child's math teacher for the 2019 - 2020 school year. I teach both 5th and 6th grade math.  I have been a teacher for 24 years, of which the last 19 have been at Deepwater Elementary.  I am married to Zullibeth Perez who teaches Reading Recovery at Parkwood Elementary.  We have been married for over 31 wonderful years and have three children. I graduated from Sam Rayburn High school in 1982 and the University of Houston in 1987.  I enjoy Latin jazz, baseball and street tacos.
