Meet Mrs. Cantu
Hello Deepwater Cougars! My name is Melissa Cantu and I have the honor to be teaching 5th grade Dual/bilingual ELA this coming school year. This is my 18th year in education. I received my Bachelor's degree at U of H and my Master's degree at St. Thomas. I have a passion for reading, and I try to transpire that to ALL my students. On a personal note, I have an 18 month old, 3 dogs, and I love to travel. This is going to be a great year.
Hola Deepwater Cougars! Mi nombre es Melissa Cantu y tengo el honor de enseñar 5 grado lectura este año. Tengo 18 años de maestra. Tengo mi Licenciatura de Uof H y Maestria de St. Thomas. Tengo mucha passion para leer, y comparto esta passion con todos mis estudiantes. En mi tiempo libre me gusta viajar con mi familia y jugar con mis perritos. Este va a ser un gran año.
