Welcome!

My name is Mary Cheslock and, I am beyond excited to have you in my class this year! It is going to be an amazing year full of learning and fun. I can’t wait to learn and teach these brilliant minds coming into my class this year!  

Here are some fun facts about me! I graduated from Deer Park High School, then attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake and graduated with my Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified as an EC- 6 Generalist teacher and have my ESL certification. I am very blessed to have this opportunity to be in Deepwater Elementary teaching 3rd grade this year. 

When I’m not teaching, I love to spend time with my family, read fun stories, watch my favorite tv shows while doing jewel art. 

A few of my favorite things are:

Food: Anything Spicy 

Drink: Hot Chocolate, Lemonade

Candy: Reese’s (Those trees, pumpkins and eggs have my heart!)

Store: Target, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Kohl’s 

Movie: Hercules, and The Emperors New Groove (Really any Disney or Star Wars Movie!) 

Color: Purple
