Seasonal Flu Information

Deepwater Elementary strongly emphasizes the importance of good health and hygiene. We strongly urge parents to keep their children home if they have any flu-like symptoms such as a fever greater than 100°F, sore throat, cough, body aches, vomiting or diarrhea until they are fever-free or without signs of a fever for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication. Your help is critical in keeping our schools health this flu season.

If your child has been diagnosed by a doctor with the flu, please contact the school nurse, Holley Dupin with additional information. Deer Park ISD is an active participant in the Harris County Flu Surveilance program.
